The work begins with diver-conducted inspections of the damaged sections, including detailed surveys and field measurements required for fabrication of replacement panels. Divers also identify and document the locations of bulkhead fittings for grout ports and steel vertical wales.<\/p>\n<p>Following the survey, deteriorated concrete is removed through chipping operations, and the exposed surfaces are pressure-washed to prepare for bulkhead installation and ensure all voids are accessible for grout placement. Any compromised reinforcing steel is removed and replaced as necessary prior to panel installation.<\/p>\n<p>Replacement panels are then fabricated with integrated bulkhead fittings, pre-drilled holes for Red Head concrete anchor bolts, and steel vertical wales. These repairs were essential to restoring the structural integrity of the existing wall, which will now serve as the\u00a0<b>deadman anchoring system<\/b>\u00a0for the newly constructed bulkhead. In addition to the rehabilitation work, Scofield assisted the General Contractor,\u00a0<b>Agate Construction<\/b>, with the underwater installation of\u00a0<b>low walers<\/b>\u00a0for the new bulkhead being built in front of the existing wall.
