    West Deptford, NJ

    Route 44 Bulkhead Rehabilitation – Commercial Dive Services

    Scofield Marine’s dive team performed 15 pile jacket repairs to stabilize a failing bulkhead system. These repairs were essential to restoring the structural integrity of the existing wall, which will now serve as the deadman anchoring system for the newly constructed bulkhead. In addition to the rehabilitation work, Scofield assisted the General Contractor, Agate Construction, with the underwater installation of low walers for the new bulkhead being built in front of the existing wall. Precision placement and secure installation were vital to ensure proper alignment and long-term structural performance. This project highlights Scofield’s expertise in underwater structural repair, marine construction support, and coordination with general contractors to deliver safe, efficient, and technically sound solutions in challenging environments.

    Performed repair and support work for the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission, including installation and removal of concrete formwork, concrete placement, removal and reapplication of protective coatings, installation and removal of temporary support platforms, and penetration diving to facilitate a critical wastewater line bypass at facility outfalls.
